Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull's Joint Tour Earns 18 Million From First Leg

Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull score a slot on the weekly recap of top-grossing Hot Tours (see list below) based on box office totals reported from their co-headlining trek through North America that launched in June. With 35 concerts planned during a five-month span, the pair began their tour in the Chicago area on June 3 and will wrap on the West Coast in late October.
The first 15 shows of the Live Nation-produced tour were reported to during the past week with sales reaching $18 million from the first four weeks on the road. At 14 arenas stateside a total of 185,933 tickets were sold. Single performances were staged in 13 of the venues, but Madison Square Garden hosted the tour for two nights -- June 30 and July 1. The New York City engagement was the final stop before the tour went on hiatus until September. Latin boy band CNCO is the special guest for most of the performances on the trek.
