5 Things We Want to See from Miley Cyrus This Weekend on 'SNL'

With Miley Cyrus returning as musical guest on tomorrow (Nov. 4) night's episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David, the "Malibu" singer will undoubtedly do more than just sing. In celebration of the highly anticipated night,  has dug through the Cyrus-SNL archives and compiled a list of the five things we most hope to see happen live on stage this weekend. 
1. Let's Get Political
With the wild state of U.S. politics in 2017, there's never a bad time for SNL to pull out a great political sketch. Cyrus gave a hilarious almost-impression of Hillary Rodham Clinton back in 2013, and did a musical short impersonation of Michele Bachmann for "We Did Stop (The Government)," a play on her hit "We Can't Stop." Maybe Cyrus could pull together a great Sarah Huckabee Sanders or Ivanka Trump this time around? Or maybe it's time for Hillary to reemerge from hiking in the woods again? 
2. She Won't Be in a "Bad Mood" Onstage, But Maybe She Can Pretend
It's probably a given at this point that Cyrus will choose to sing "Malibu." But it'd be cool if the singer highlighted Younger Now track "Bad Mood" which she recently gave the acoustic treatment for Spotify Singles. 
3. The Old Miley Can't Come to the Phone Right Now... Or Maybe She Can?
In her 2015 monologue, Cyrus packed plenty of sarcastic punches, but updated the audience on the current state of Hannah Montana with a simple statement: "She was murdered." With the throwback Cyrus posted to Twitter of her and Larry David on Hannah Montana back in the day, is it possible the singer might revive her iconic alter ego for a sketch? 
 
4. Oh Golly, Miss Dolly... erm, Miley
Cyrus is a huge fan of her godmother, and so are we. With Cyrus' affection for covering Dolly Parton's hit "Jolene," along with her recent impersonation of the singer on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, it isn't a stretch to hope Cyrus will bring the impersonation along to another NBC show. 
5. Mileys Collide... Again?
It might be too much to ask for Cyrus to confront her own impersonation again, but it's always hilarious when SNL can pull it off (c'mon, the Hilary Clinton/Kate McKinnon thing is still being talked about). Maybe not on "The Miley Cyrus Show," since Vanessa Bayer is sadly no longer part of the regular cast, but there's definitely plenty of room for Cyrus to stand beside her comedic parallel once again.
