Flume featuring Kucka, "Hyperreal"
Australian DJ/producer Flume (aka Harley Streten) debuts at No. 36 on 's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated May 27) with "Hyperreal," featuring Kucka. As Flume wrote on his official Facebook page of the song, "That's a wrap on all the music from [his 2016 LP] Skin. The [Skin] Companion EP II [first released in February] is [now] out on vinyl, and as a final touch I'm releasing a bonus track." "Hyperreal" accumulated 997,000 U.S. streams and sold 2,000 downloads in the week ending May 11, according to Nielsen Music. Flume has now scored 11 Hot Dance/Electronic Songs hits, including the No. 3-peaking "Never Be Like You," featuring Kai, and "Smoke and Retribution," featuring Vince Staples and Kucka (the latter marking Kucka's only prior entry).
Andrew Rayel, Moments
Moldovian trance master Andrew Rayel enters Dance/Electronic Album Sales at No. 9 with Moments. The release marks the first top 10 for Rayel, whose Find Your Harmony found a No. 24 peak on the chart in 2014. Moments features collaborations with a slew of guests, including German DJ/producer ATB, Australian singer Emma Hewitt, British vocalist Christina Novelli, Los Angeles-based singer Eric Lumiere and Dutch DJ Jochen Miller.
Freischwimmer featuring Polina, "Waiting For You"
German DJ Freischwimmer (real name: Sebastian Bernhardt) scoots 47-40 on Dance Club Songs with "Waiting for You," featuring Polina. The track is the follow-up to Freischwimmer's trop-house cover of The Mamas & the Papas' 1966 classic "California Dreamin," which led the list in February 2016. "Waiting," which features remixes by fellow German DJ Blondee, is the first Dance Club Songs hit for Russian singer Polina (full name: Polina Goudieva).
