Jessie James Decker Is the 'Girl' at No. 1 on Top Country Albums Chart

Jessie James Decker achieves her first No. 1 on 's Top Country Albums chart (dated Nov. 4), as Southern Girl City Lights bows on top. It earned 21,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 19, according to Nielsen Music, with 18,000 in traditional sales. Both totals mark career bests. On the all-genre 200, Girl enters at No. 18, also a new personal high.
Girl is Decker's fifth Top Country Albums appearance, although her first with an LP. Her first charted title, Comin' Home, debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the chart dated May 3, 2014. She followed with This Christmas (No. 16, 2015) and two other titles earlier in 2017: Gold (No. 5, March 11) and Blackbird Sessions (No. 33, July 1).
Decker released her first full-length in 2009, her self-titled pop set (under the billing Jessie James) that bowed and peaked at No. 23 on the 200.
PEARCE, DICKINSON DEBUT: Carly Pearce's launch LP, Every Little Thing, starts at No. 4 on Top Country Albums with 15,000 units (10,000 in pure sales) in its first week in wide release. The set is anchored by its title-track lead single, which romps 11-1 on Country Digital Song Sales, up 136 percent to 26,000 downloads sold, making it Pearce's first No. 1 on a chart. On Hot Country Songs (which blends streaming, airplay and sales data), "Every Little Thing" hits the top five (7-5). It bumps 8-6 on Country Airplay, up 3 percent to 34.5 million impressions.
Plus, Russell Dickerson's first full-length, Yours, arrives at No. 5 on Top Country Albums with 12,000 units (8,000 in sales). It follows his same-named EP, which entered at No. 14 on Feb. 6, 2016 (3,000 sold). The album's title-track first single hits the Hot Country Songs top 20 (22-17) and jogs 20-17 on Country Airplay (15.5 million, up 13 percent).
