After a two year break from the limelight, UK soul-pop singer Jessie Ware returned last week with the release of her new single "Midnight," debuted with Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. Today, she shared the official video for the clip, filmed in Mallorca and directed by Tom Beard to channel European film noir. “We shot from 1am until the sun came up and the video was so much fun to make,” she says.
Ware's meteoric rise began in 2012 with the release of her debut LP Devotion, followed by her sophomore effort Tough Love in 2014. Her forthcoming third full-length (via PMR/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records) is set for release later this year, and includes collaborations with Francis and the Lights, Ed Sheeran, Julia Michaels, Cashmere Cat, and more.
