October is gearing up to be a competitive month for K-pop and one of the industry’s most prominent soloists has announced that he’s joining the fray.
On Monday, SM Entertainment unveiled a new Twitter account for its boy band SHINee, where it began teasing the solo return of band member Taemin (Lee Taemin), whose last Korean album was released over a year and a half ago. The new album, Move, will be released on Oct. 16.
Like past releases from Taemin, the teaser videos suggests Move will be predominantly based around performance elements, showing the singer emotively dancing with a backing track overflowing with a grimy '80s pop-rock vibe.

The short Move promo clips suggest fans will see several different sides of Taemin on the new album, showing him dramatically performing in a variety of scenes and situations. He even dons a full face mask during certain scenes to create a haunting visual that matches the stirring, occasionally creepy, types of dances that Taemin has showcased in the past.
